Surgery has been bumped up to another $5,200 for the Silver Cross Hospital deadline of the 18th

i don’t know what to do. 5200 plus 3% fee from gofundme

Hello all it's Jake and if you didn't know recently I fractured my Ankle. I broke my Fibula, tore 2 Ligaments with a dislocated ankle. I really did a number on my ankle. The Dr. said that if I don't get this surgery I might not be able to walk again. I can't even start my healing process until this is done either, which will take at least 6 weeks, the longer I wait the worse it gets too. The upfront fee to get in the door for my surgery is $2,253.73 that is bare bones payment with no added medications and other fees. I have also added a 3% transaction fee for gofundme in my goal. Anything extra will go towards Bone Dr. Visits, Medication, My ER Visit.

What happened: Honestly it was pretty scary and I've never had anything like this happen to me before and I'm even confused a bit myself about it all.

I remember waking up around midnight after falling asleep an hour or two before. I got up to just move around I remember stretching and walking around my room. after that I woke up on the floor not feeling right. there was a big pressure in my head and it felt foggy.

I'm not sure what happened between this, it could have been a seizure (no previous history), or I could have rolled my ankle and the pain knocked me out.

after getting my eyes open and realizing something was wrong I tried getting up and fell to the ground and realized what was wrong especially when I caught an eye of my bone breaking my skin from the inside-outside. So at this point I'm in shock and have straight adrenaline. I quickly throw myself together and start to hop up a staircase and once I hit the top I call 911 for help. I then crawl out the front door leaned against the house waiting for the ambulance.

once I did get to the hospital I had to sit with my ankle like that for 9 hours until I was just given an ankle reduction and a splint and sent on my way.
