Support Hayden's Recovery Journey

As some of you may know, my son, Hayden, who’s 16 years old, had a tragic firework accident. He was holding a Roman candle when it blew up in his hand. We rushed him to Logansport hospital as we were in cass county when the accident occurred. He was then air lifted to a hospital in Indianapolis. He had major surgery done on his fingers and hand. He lost 2 fingertips and his ring finger had to be amputated. He had 3 lacerations down to the bone where the Roman candle exploded in his hand. He has some tendon damage as well. He will need some extensive therapy. This will affect him playing trumpet and football. We will have to return to Indianapolis 1 to 2 times a week for follow up appointments and physical therapy. Money is tight right now. We need gas money to get back and forth to Indianapolis for his appointments. The surgeon said it would take 6 months, if not longer for him to be completely healed. We also don’t know if the insurance company will pay for the air lift to Indianapolis so I’m assuming this will be an hefty bill. Any amount will help. Thank y’all so much and god bless!!!
