Our mum, Antoinette, was recently diagnosed with Grade 2 breast cancer, but we are grateful that it was caught early. She urgently needs surgery to remove the tumour, and we, her sons, Tyrone and Romeo, are raising funds to help cover the cost of the operation and related treatment so it can be done as soon as possible.
She recently underwent a CT scan, and it has been identified as DCIS (Ductal Carcinoma in Situ), meaning the cancer has not spread into her blood cells. She is currently awaiting a more detailed medical report, which is expected on the 20th. Following this, doctors have advised that she proceed with surgery to remove the tumour without delay.
Our mum lives in Ghana, where access to timely medical care can be extremely expensive, and most of the costs must be paid upfront. While Antoinette is staying strong and positive, the financial burden of surgery and treatment is overwhelming for our family.
Any donation, big or small, will help bring her one step closer to a healthy, cancer-free future. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Thank you all so much for your love, support, and kindness during this time.
