My name is Amanda Dent and I am creating this GoFundMe account for my dad Gordon Dent. As many of you may know he underwent open heart surgery 10/28/15 where the Doctor preformed 5 bypasses. My dad is an extremely hardworking self employeed man. Unfortunately, his Doctor says he cannot work for 6 months leaving him with no income and high medical bills.

For those of you that know my dad, you know that he would give you the shirt off his back.  He has spent the last 10 years of his life caring for both of his parents, his dad with Alzheimers who passed 2 years ago and his mother who was confined to her wheelchair and passed last December.  He was finally getting back on his feet and able to work when he started to feel weak.  Thankfully, he was able to seek treatment and is now on the long road to recovery.

I am asking for any help as my dad will need money to pay for medical co-pays, prescriptions, medical insurance, gas to get to and from Doctors appointments (in Salinas),  and all everyday necessities.  Nothing is too little as this point.  If you are unable to donate please send prayers and share this go fund me account.
