Eric's Medical and Therapy

My brother, Eric Martinez, is a great father, loving husband and son, but best of all he is an inspiration to me and many people that have met or will meet him on his journey to fulfill God's will.  We are asking everyone for prayers that God will heal Eric and give him his eye sight back.

Eric was a victim of an assault a few days after the new year.  He was shot in the face while trying to drive away, after rendering help to his brother whom was also assaulted.  Eric suffered serious damage to his eyes and is currently unable to see out of both eyes.  However, he told me that he believes he will see again...he has dreamed it.  Eric also suffered multiple fractures to his oribital sockets and nasal bone that will require facial reconstruction.  His journey to recovery will be a long and trying one.  There will numerous operations and therapy sessions to help Eric get an opportunity to see and live a normal life.   Donations are needed to help with any of the forseeable medical costs and other associated costs. 

I couldn't imagine being in my brother's position and suffering a tragic experience such as loosing your eye sight.  To think that he can't see his beautiful daughter or wife, or his parents and brothers, or any of the many elementary students he so greatly cared for and taught at his job, is beyond my comprehension at times.  My soul hurts for him, but I know God will heal him.  It would mean the world to me and our family if donations were made to aid Eric during this unfortunate time in his life.  Through God nothing is impossible and we will keep praying for God to heal his eyes.  Keep him and his family in your prayers.

Remember to live everyday as God intended us to and love one another.  I forgive the person(s) that did this to my brother, he didn't deserve it...nobody does.
