2/18/24 update from Mariah:
**Just a quick Update on Daniel and life in general**
We finally arrived at Sacred heart last night after being out on a waitlist for two days. Daniel will be having a procedure done on his heart tomarrow called a Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) with Cardioversion. Which is when they take a scope down his throat and check the heart for possible blood clots on the back side of the heart where they have not been able to see. If none are found the will use a diffibrulator to shock him a few times to try and get his heart to beat in a functional rythym…. If clots are found they will not be able to do the Cardioversion as it is dangerous and can send the clots in different areas of his body causing life threating things.
To say that what we’ve been experiencing is heartbreaking is an understatement. Both being away from my kids along with now not being able to stay the night with Daniel here at sacred heart has been more then mentally draining and challenging to say the least. I ask that everyone continue to please send prayers our way as I’m finding it difficult to navigate through all these life changes.
Again we appreciate everyone for all the continuous love and support ♥️ and I’ll continue to do my best to keep everyone updated ♥️
Update from Mariah:
Just a quick update for everyone asking, doctors here are still unable to get Daniels heart working properly and we have exaughsted all options and resources here at the ICU at Samaritan. Daniel is now being transported to Sacred Heart in Spokane. Please keep us in your prayers ♥️ we are hoping by transferring we can get some answers.
As some of you may know Daniel is currently in the ICU with the possibility of being transferred to a larger hospital for further medical treatment. He has experienced heart failure and liver failure as well as a double lung infection due to an unknown cause. Doctors are currently running extensive tests and doing everything they can to get answers for them. As they wait for answers both Daniel and Mariah will be staying in the ICU until all medical testing can be completed and Daniel is stable. Friends and family have decided to create this go fund me page on behalf of Daniel and Mariah to allow them to focus on Daniel’s health and not have the weight of medical and life expenses on their shoulders. Daniel and Mariah are parents of two amazing babies, Annaleigh and Roman. Your donation and prayers are welcomed and greatly appreciated ♥️
