On August 11, 2015 Meghan Desgrosielliers and Eric Price welcomed into the world a most precious angel Ariah Mae Desgrosielliers-Price.  Soon after her arrival the doctors knew something was not right.  She was a very sick little girl.  Just 24 hours into her new life she was airlifted from her place of birth in Amory, MS to Jackson, MS. It was in Jackson that our worst fear was confirmed. Our little angel was diagnosed with a rare chromosome condition called C.H.A.R.G.E. Syndrome. This condition is so rare and so complicated to explain there just isn't enough space to write.

Since her arrival in Jackson, she has had to remain on a ventilator due to the severe defects in her heart. At 9 days old she had surgery for Choanal Atresia, this is a congenital disorder where the back of the nasal is blocked by abnormal boney or soft tissue. At 10 days old she had open heart surgery to correct her heart defects and, will have to have a second heart surgery within the next few months. The doctors and nurses are wonderful at the Jackson Children Hospital.

Ariah Mae will be in the hospital for many weeks, once she is able to come home we, her parents, are facing three hours of travel each way to Jackson for doctor appointments and therapy each week.

Currently, we are staying in hotels, the Ronald McDonald house will only allow married parents to stay. Medical expenses are going to be astronomical. Due to Ariah being diagnosed with C.H.A.R.G.E. Syndrome, we have a long expensive road ahead of us. Any support and prayers through this difficult time are highly appreciated.
