In Loving Memory of Harry Calvert

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Harry Calvert, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, workmate, and mate to so many.

Harry fought a courageous battle with stage four prostate cancer, undergoing surgery, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and a clinical trial through Macquarie University that required frequent travel to Sydney. Throughout it all, Harry showed immense strength, humility, and humour—the same qualities that made him such a valued member of the Rio Tinto family for over 15 years.

He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Harry was married to his wife Marianne for over 40 years, and together they raised three children and adored their eight grandchildren. Our love, thoughts, and deepest condolences go out to Marianne and the entire Calvert family during this incredibly difficult time.
