Say hello to Liam. Liam is 3 years old. He loves Batman, rocket ships, and playing with his baby brother Connor. His favorite color is red! Liam had what his mom thought was bronchitis. She brought him to the doctor and two days later he was diagnosed with childhood leukemia. Liam was ripped from his home a week before Christmas and is stuck in a tiny hospital room 300 miles from home. This makes it tough for his grandma and family to visit him. Everything is strange and scary but he's being so brave and strong!
Liam will receive chemo in his current hospital for 4-6 weeks. His mother is their only source of income and will be away from her job during this time to care for him before they are allowed back home to continue treatment there. Once there, she will try to balance her job with taking Liam to chemo. Before Liam can return home, costly changes also need to be made to his house (replacing all windows, grout, carpet, etc) so that he can live there safely without picking up secondary illnesses. Donations will help cover medical and other related expenses so that she can focus on Liam's survival without added financial fear.
Liam is a gentle soul that is always concerned for others. He is wise beyond his years. In his first 24 hours he received a bone marrow biopsy, a port installed in his chest, and his first round of chemo to his spine. After all of this, he asked his mother if she was okay because he is worried about her. He says "Don't worry. I just need a good rest so I can go home." Liam is our sweetest boy. We are asking that you help him fight the most important fight of his life. If you can donate, no amount is too small. We are also requesting prayer, as God is the one who can carry this family through their biggest storm.
