Enplay 6th Graders Played With a Purpose

Almost one year ago, the boys on this 6th grade team experienced the unthinkable. While in Cocoa Beach, Florida for the 5th Grade National Basketball Tournament, one of their beloved coaches (Coach Anthony Jenkins) suddenly passed away. The boys were left heart-broken and trying to find understanding. Following this tragedy, the boys started a new season. They were determined to work harder and tighten their bond as brothers.

With victories and personal triumphs, it was clear that the boys were truly playing with purpose----in memory of Coach Jenkins. Because of their hard work, they have again been invited to participate in the National Basketball Tournament in Hampton, VA in three weeks. This year, they will go without Coach Jenkins, but not without the many life lessons that he taught them.

In order to take this week-long trip which has a number of associated costs (travel, lodging, meals, etc.) we are asking for your support. Your donation will be used to offer a wonderful experience to a great group of boys.

Thank you for your consideration.
