Battle Ground,WA to Bend,OR in my chair

For the last 2 years I have wanted to do a long trip in my wheel chair. I have scoped out a nice 3-4 day trip from my house to Bend, OR. My plan is to go there the first week in September and be there in time for their Walk to Defeat ALS. This would not be a trip to promote or raise funds for ALS but more to show people that no matter what your limitations are, with planning, willpower, and a little help from friends, you can do about anything.
So far I have it all planed out, but to make it happen I need my friends to back me. I need money to buy 2 more sets of batteries for my wheelchair and food and gas money. My dad's RV generator will be running just about nonstop to charge the batteries that we will be switching in my chair.
I have had a lot of positive feedback from people who I shared my dream with but I have also had some negative feedback as well. So this is my plan. If you support me, let your dollars be your vote. If you don't support me or think I'm being foolish, then don't donate and don't share your negativity with me. I like to say positive.
