A Mother’s Love
Donation protected
My mother is the strongest woman I know, but now she really needs help.
We lost my father about a month ago. They had been married over 25 years and she was his nurse, therapist, and best friend the twelve years he was sick. She makes less than a few thousand dollars a year and since he passed away, she lost half of their income. She’s 65 years old. Social security won’t even give her all of his check (his was the bigger of the two) because she was forced to take it early to provide for us when he fell ill.
She has bills and debts to pay. She’s terrified she won’t make ends meet. I’m doing what I can, all of her kids are, but it’s not enough. Her anxiety and panic gets worse by the day on top of her missing my father.
I want to help pay off one of her credit cards with this money. She had to max out a few of them years ago to feed her children and she’s slowly trying to pay them off. On top of that, I plan to use this money to get her a car that isn’t falling apart. The one she has now has so many issues that she can’t afford to take care of, and it’s - quite frankly - scary to think of her driving it.
No amount it too small. If you can’t afford to donate please share. I just want to take care of my mother.
