On July 8th Levi, Olivia and Chloe were driving home from their softball tournament when across I5 came a tire off a trailer and through the windshield of Olivia's jeep. Levi was driving and was able to maneuver enough that the tire entered the center of the windshield and caught the tire with his right hand/arm when the car came to a stop the tire cam to rest between him and Olivia in the front seat. Had he not "caught" it, it would have gone in the back seat on Chloe. 6 inches to the left or right and him or Olivia wouldn't be here to tell the story. so we are blessed!
At that time Levi and the girls were taken to Salem Hospital ER and Levi had to have multiple surgeries on his hand & arm.  He was told by the surgeon that his hand will never be the same which is disheartening as for 21 years his livelyhood has required his hands to work. Levi is going to have an undetermined length of recovery...
and a long time with no income to recover from...
