I really didn't ever have to make one of these, especially for my pup. But I am stressing over what's to come. Last week I took Azula to the vet for a limp she had been suffering from for a few days. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. The worst was the outcome, naturally...

She has torn her ACL, xrays and a further exam showed that she at just two years old has signs of bad knees and hips which is what made it so easy for her to tear her muscles. Apparently she will be prone to these tears the rest of her life. She will require majory surgery that can cost anywhere from $1,000 to upwards of $10,000 according to the research I've done so far on it all.

Worst part about this is that typically when one knee/leg goes...the other shortly follows. This is a major major expense I didn't expect. I did have pet insurance on them both but had to cancel a few months ago due to financial budget. Really wish I didnt't....

I don't like to flat out ask people for help or expect anyone to donate. I've had MANY people suggest starting this and even donating directly through payment apps. That's what this is for. I do not expect handouts or help, but it is here if you'd like to donate and help with her future health. I understand eveyrone is struggling right now so I don't expect this goal to even be met. I am setting it this high because I do not know the exact costs or if the other leg will follow and she will need TWO surgeries. I will know more at her follow up visit in a week or so and will keep this updated. She is my whole world. A literal angel on earth and she doesn't deserve any of this, above all else.
