On the morning of February 6th, NBCLA news photographer Azucena Varela and her young daughter Persephany escaped a terrible fire which destroyed a good portion of their house. Thankfully no one was hurt, but they lost a lot of belongings and now have smoke damage through their property. We are hoping that her friends in the  LA TV News community will help her recover financially from this scary incident.  Any amount you can contribute will help to get them back on their feet.
