Dear Neighbors,

I'm writing to you today to ask for your help. As many of you know, our community recently experienced a severe storm that left many families in our neighborhood dealing with the aftermath. The VanSickle family, who live in our community, were among those affected. Their home suffered significant damage, and they're struggling to recover.

The storm damaged their roof, causing leaks inside their home. Their front window was also shattered, and their shed was destroyed. To make matters worse, two large trees on their property were destroyed, posing a risk to their safety. What's even more challenging is that their homeowners insurance didn't cover their home, leaving them with a huge burden.

The VanSickle family is on a fixed income, and with one of the family members dealing with disability, it's even harder for them to make ends meet. They're doing their best to stay afloat, but they need our help.

That's why I'm reaching out to ask if you'd consider making a donation to help the VanSickle family get back on their feet. Any contribution, big or small, will go directly towards covering the costs of:

- A new roof to stop the leaks and ensure their home is safe and secure

- A new front window to restore their home's integrity

- A new shed to replace the one that was destroyed

- Removing the two large trees that pose a risk to their property
