Hello, I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend, Billiegirl.

On September 23, 2025, the unimaginable happened. My client’s sweet 9 month old daughter, Aziah “Millie” Million-Bell McDougle, tragically lost her life to a senseless act of gun violence.

On that tragic day, Millie’s mother did everything within her power to save her child. She gave her all. Taking immediate life saving measures in hopes of saving her sweet baby. But despite her desperate efforts, Millie passed away in her mother’s arms. This is every parent’s worst nightmare, and the pain she now carries is beyond words.

At only 9 months old, Millie was the light of her mother’s world. In her short time, she had already begun discovering life by sitting strong on her own, pulling herself up, and even beginning to take those first wobbly steps. Her smile could brighten the darkest day, and her laughter filled every room with joy. Her mother cherishes these precious milestones, but her heart aches for the ones she will never see...Millie’s first real steps, her first words, her first birthday, and all the beautiful experiences of life that were yet to come. Taken far too soon, Millie’s memory will forever be treasured, and her light will never fade.

Before this devastating loss, my friend was actively working on building a future for herself and her daughter. She had been searching for stable housing, preparing to return to her career in healthcare, and looking into daycare options where Millie could thrive while she worked. She had dreams of creating a safe and loving home for her baby. A home where Millie could grow, learn, and be surrounded by love.

Now, instead of continuing to build those dreams, this heartbroken mother faces unimaginable pain. In addition to her grief, she is now left to pick up the pieces alone and navigate life without her sweet baby girl.
