Hello everyone. My name is Mataya Cournoyer, I am writing this for my baby brother. My 16y old brothers name is AZIAH KEZENA. 04.10.2023 he was taken from myself and my family. In other words, he was murdered. Aziah was murdered in an alley right next to our moms house in Wagner, SD. I called 911. Me and my boyfriend Mathyus put my little brother in my car and drove him to the ER ourselves. My poor baby brother kept asking for water and kept saying he feels funny. My mom arrived shortly after I brought Aziah to the hospital our mom, Annette Kezena, arrived. About 45 minutes later, Aziah had passed away due to his injuries. He was a polite young man. He always said Please and Thank you. If you had groceries, he would bring them in for you. If someone was alone at school, Aziah would befriend them. He was so protective over his friends, he’d never let a friend walk home alone. My baby brother will be back sometime this week, I don’t have a date yet. The money raised will be for wake and funeral costs. Please don’t forget my baby brothers name or what happened to him. Pray for my family, his friends and their families, he had a huge impact on a lot of people in his life.
