Hi my name is Nou. I am Stevie's aunt. I am fundraising for Stevie's medical bills. On July 11th Stevie was experiencing chest pain all day. He has such a high tolerance for pain that he thought it would just go away like it always does. On that evening, his uncle forced him to go to the ER. At 11 pm, we got the bad news that he had type A Aortic dissection, requiring emergency open heart surgery as soon as possible. There was no other option but to have his valve repaired. He was then transferred to U of M for immediate surgery. He went into surgery at 1 am July 12th. By 7:30 am, he was out of surgery which was a great relief to everyone. He is having some complications with fever and breathing on his own. Doctors had performed numerous tests, medical exams, ct scans and blood tests which were all normal. No one knows why this is happening. He has shown some improvement in the last 24hrs with medication changes. I am asking for your help to donate to help a loving father of 2 little girls, ages 3 and 2, as he will not be able to work. With just his wife working, it will be extremely difficult for them to make ends meet since he will not be able to work. Even though you don't donate, please help share his story.
