Most people know Miss Azaria's story. But here I go. Azaria has juvenile diabetes. It has taken a hard toll on her body. She is blind in one eye and only has partial vision in the other. She has a brittle bone disease due to her diabetes, so her physical capabilities are limited. She doesn't let it slow her down too much, though.

The most recent turn of events, unfortunately, is that she has developed final stage renal failure. She has to do dialysis three times a week. Soon, she will be having surgery to put in a permanent port in her arm, and once that is healed, she can start home dialysis, which will allow her to live the most normal life that is possible in her condition. After this diagnosis, she had to quit her job at the supermarket.
