17 year old Evan Vengen was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in April 2014 and is now undergoing chemotherapy treatment in the hospital to eradicate the disease. Evan has shown tremendous courage and spirit in dealing with the effects of these powerful drugs and the total disruption of his life, and continutes to inspire and encourage everyone with his positive attitude and brilliant smile.
Unfortunately the treatment costs are great and a substantial portion is not covered by insurance . We are asking everyone if they can help out the Vengen family and Evan by contributing to this fund . Any amount is deeply appreciated and will help. We all can't wait to see Evan running on the soccer field this fall as he plays for the Pope John Varsity soccer team . Thank you for your compassion and support as we help this wonderful young man regain his health and return to his busy and rich life as a senior at Pope John and beyond.
