Help DAYNA Jamar Hesson DOMINATE Cancer

PLEASE help our family fund Dayna's medical & travel expenses! I write this to the best of my ability, but I am in hopes God will do a better job in telling her story by touching each one of your hearts and by gracing her as a "survivor" instead of a "fighter" in the near future.

On June 24, 2014, Dayna was told she would now have to fight for her life. Thought to be an easy morning going in for surgery from excruciating right-sided pain, turned dark being told she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Malignant Gallbladder Cancer that has metastasized to her liver and inner stomach lining. The local oncologist described it as very aggressive and encouraged her to go fight at M.D. Anderson of Houston, Texas in hopes of "experimental" treatment & chemotherapy; they could not do anything for her here. God willing, the Bossier City community that loves her can help her get to Houston and donate any amount to help fund the overwhelming costs of treatment.

Dayna is the daughter of Walter and Dolly Jamar. She is a sister to Randy Jamar. A devoted wife to Charlie Hesson. Charlie served 20+ years on the Bossier City Fire Department. A loving step-mother to Brandon & Matt Hesson. A loving mother to Chase, Cole, & Austin Hesson. Chase is a Bossier Parish Sheriff's Deputy, Austin serves as a fireman for the Plain Dealing Fire Department, and Cole is continuing his education studying Criminal Justice. Dayna is a beloved grandmother (AKA Mimi D), to Collin, Cameron, Wednesday, Tenley, & Jayce Hesson. A second mother to her daughter-in-laws: Kate, Dana, Lanie Skye, Trysha, & Aly. A best friend to Jan Carter and Kathy Jacobs. She is needed by many and a huge part of everyone's life, but not only to her family and friends. Dayna has served the Bossier Parish Schoolboard as a bus driver for 20 years. Also, she has gained the position of Counselor's Assistant at Airline High School in the last year. I think we can all say Dayna or better known as, Momma Hess, is Airline's biggest fan. All three of her boys left their mark on Airline Baseball's field and even though they are grown, her & Charlie are still seen near the dugout rooting for the boys at home and long distance games. Talk about devotion to Bossier Parish, for her bus kids and Airline High, she has a huge heart now lets return some of what she has done for us.

Our hearts are heavy, but we believe in the power of prayer. We are not only asking for donations, but more importantly we are in desperation for your healing prayers. Thank you so much and may God bless you all.

"Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return." -Luke 6:38
