Help Allie Recover!

After school on December 20, there was a terrible accident at McAuliffe Middle School. My daughter’s good friend and classmate, eleven-year-old Allison Balos was struck by a car, pinning her between two vehicles. Allison sustained traumatic injuries to her legs and knees and lost a significant amount of blood. She is scheduled to have her second surgery this week, with more to come and will likely remain hospitalized for the next several weeks. The doctors told her mom that an Angel was truly watching over Allison for her to have been able to pull through such a close call. The Balos family knows they are blessed with her survival, but there is a long road ahead. No one should have to spend Christmas this way.
