Ayulomi Joy Beach, A Beautiful Loving Soul Was Taken.

I had the wonderful privilege of knowing Joy for over 16 years. She was the sweetest soul you would ever meet and most assured, you would never forget her. She was vivacious, energetic and always charming and willing to help you with anything and everything; not a selfish bone in her body, Always so happy to meet everyone she met. She would give you her last quarter if you needed it. She was a true delicate angel.
She truly embodied her name "Joy!"
Although she had mental health issues, just as I do, you wouldn't notice it at all. Of course she struggled like so many other people with everyday life. She handled it with grace and kindness. She was like a big kid, able to find wonder and fun in anything that life threw at her.
That's how she was, just like the photos you see. Never a frown or a mad face. She never said anything bad or disparaging about anyone. She never judged or thought any ill will toward anyone. Her whole family is sweet like that.
You could be having a miserable day or unruly situation and she would have you laughing and crying at the same time, and that bad situation would end up not being so bad at all. She helped me in so many ways like that. She was like that all the time, not just some rare occasion. She never met anyone she didn’t like, would say hello to everyone she met and would always more than not, want to give you a hug and a smile.
She was way more than her “situation”; had you met her you would have never thought that at all. She was a really down to earth person, intelligent, and kind.
She could talk about anything and had ideas for a restaurant she had been working on for years. She was always thinking of different recipes and meal ideas, and was very talented in the kitchen. She loved singing along to old songs and even came up with her own songs. She was so well versed in so many aspects of life.
In the past few years events were not kind to her. She was living in a house for other people similar to her and the medication wasn’t working for her anymore.
Today, Friday September 5, around 7:15-20 P. M. almost exactly a week from the day she went missing on Saturday, August 30, (the Uber listing shows her being picked up at 10:09 P. M. ) her sister got a call from the Dallas County Coroner’s Office,
They found her body near Farmers Market in Downtown Dallas. When she left the house she had all her stuff with her, (This was confirmed by a screenshot from one of the house cameras) ,but when they found her she had nothing with her. I cannot fathom what those last few hours or days were for her. It isn't fair for someone like her to just die on the streets and it took days to find her. She was THE most sweetest person I have ever known.
She deserves something better. I know her family and was good friends with her dad. He was a really good man, a pastor, a mentor, just like her he was always helping people. Her sister and brother are such warm and loving people.
She has two sons, one tragically was killed in an auto accident and left her youngest son devastated. Now her youngest son has to deal with, not only the loss of his brother 3 years ago and now, his mother.
Please help me mend their pain.
They are a sweet and loving family and do not have all the resources available for all of this.
I am praying that we all can pitch in and provide some comfort and solace, and anything that would be left over would go to her youngest son. He is just starting his adult life and having to work through so much pain and grief at his young age is not something a young person should have to deal with. No one should.
This has broken our hearts in millions of ways and we’re still trying to grasp it and work out everything we need but it’s over our heads right now and there’s no way we can make any of this better but she deserves more than we can possibly afford.
I let her down. The system let her down, but, I let her down most of all.
I ask, plead, for your generosity and open hearts to help us send Joy forward on her next adventure better, than this one was taken.
Thank you and bless you all.
