Help for my Uncle: MD Victor Barcham
My uncle Victor Sheba who is also a specialist in internal and neurological medicine is in critical condition due to COVID-19. He was also a frontline worker during COVID- 19 pandemic working, day and night in order to support those affected by the virus, and unfortunately he has become one who is severly affected. He is a loving husband to nurse Norma and a father to 2 beautiful boys, a toddler Victor Alejandro and a new born baby Amir Alejandro. Since he has PRE-existing medical conditions from work pressure at Young age of 42. He was easily prone to the virus and his lungs got affected badly and cannot breath without being on oxygen.
Dr. Victor was transferred to a private clinic 3 days ago. However, he could not remain there for more days due to the high expenses and was transferred to a public hospital (Hospital Central) in the city of Valencia, where he could not stay either due to the precarious conditions that all public hospitals in Venezuela present.
Thanks to the efforts and help of family members, Dr. Victor was transferred again to a private clinic (Metropolitano del Norte), where he is in delicate general conditions. The daily expenses for hospitalization, treatments, medical materials and other expenses rang from 2000$ to 2500$.
His family, wife and children want him to return back home healthy and recovered, so we ask you to keep him in your prayers, and please if you are able to help us, we strongly appreciate your valuable financial collaboration so that he can continue receiving his treatments and medical attention in this private clinic. El Dr.Víctor Barcham, de 42 años de edad, casado, padre de 2 hijos, Médico Internista Neurólogo, adjunto de la unidad de neurología del Hospital Central de Valencia, presenta diagnóstico de neumonía de focos múltiples por COVID-19 severo.
Por no tener seguro médico, el Dr. Victor no pudo permanecer hospitalizado por muchos días en una Clínica Privada y fue trasladado a un Hospital Público (Hospital Central de Valencia), en el cual tampoco pudo permanecer debido a las condiciones precarias que presentan todos los Hospitales Públicos en Venezuela.
Gracias al esfuerzo y ayuda de familiares, el Dr. Victor logró ser trasladado al Hospital Metropolitano del Norte, donde se encuentra en delicadas condiciones generales. Los gastos de hospitalización diarios varían entre $2000 y $2500.
Su familia, esposa, amigos y sus hijos desean que regrese sano a su casa, por lo que suplicamos lo mantengan en sus oraciones, y si está en sus posibilidades agradecemos su valiosa colaboración económica para que pueda seguir recibiendo su hospitalización y tratamiento en este centro de salud .
