Hola, soy Julian Andres Gamboa Rueda, mi prima Nelly Viviana Alvarez Rueda, conocida por todos como "Vivi", sufrió un grave accidente de moto mientras iba de copiloto. Lamentablemente, no llevaba casco, lo que le ocasionó lesiones severas en la cabeza. Ha tenido que ser sometida a dos craneotomias. Ademas, sufrió fractura en el brazo izquierdo, cuello, pies y otras lesiones.

Actualmente se encuentra hospitalizada en Estados Unidos, luchando con toda su fuerza por salir adelante. Pero el camino hacia su recuperación es largo y costoso. El seguro de la persona responsable del accidente apenas cubrió una pequeña parte de los gastos médicos, y hoy necesitamos tu ayuda para cubrir:

• El arriendo donde vive su mamá, quien está cuidándola en este proceso.

• Transportes (Uber) diarios al hospital.

• Terapias físicas y neurológicas que serán clave para su recuperación.

• Y finalmente, su traslado de regreso a Colombia cuando los médicos lo autoricen.

Vivi es una mujer increíblemente fuerte, llena de fe y ganas de vivir. Hoy necesita que entre todos le devolvamos un poquito del amor y alegría que ella siempre ha entregado.

Hello, I’m Julian Andres Gamboa Rueda. My cousin, Nelly Viviana Alvarez Rueda—known to everyone as “Vivi”—was in a serious motorcycle accident while riding as a passenger. Unfortunately, she wasn’t wearing a helmet, which caused severe head injuries. She has had to undergo two craniotomies. In addition, she suffered fractures in her left arm, neck, feet, and other injuries.

She is currently hospitalized in the United States, fighting with all her strength to recover. But the road to recovery is long and expensive. The insurance of the person responsible for the accident only covered a small portion of the medical expenses, and now we need your help to cover:

Rent for the home where her mother—who is caring for her during this process—lives.

Daily transportation (Uber) to the hospital.

Physical and neurological therapies that will be key to her recovery.

And finally, her transport back to Colombia once her doctors give the green light.

Vivi is an incredibly strong woman, full of faith and a desire to live. Today, she needs all of us to give back a little of the love and joy she has always shared with others.
