Today I want to share the story of Mary Carmen, an incredibly dedicated and loving mother who is facing one of the toughest challenges a person can face: cancer. She was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, a type of cancer that, although treatable, requires a long and very expensive process.

Mary Carmen lives in Miami with her two children: her youngest, a boy full of energy who loves baseball, and her baby, just a few months old, who still doesn't know that his mother is fighting the most important battle of her life. Mary Carmen is the heart of her family, a woman who has dedicated her life to caring for and supporting her children with all her love, no matter the challenges. Now she needs us. Every cycle of chemotherapy, every medical exam, every medication adds up, and the cost of treatment is far beyond what her family can cover alone.

Despite the diagnosis, Mary Carmen continues to fight with the strength of a mother who doesn't give up. Every day is an effort to stay on her feet for her children, to smile at them, to give them security. But the treatment costs have become impossible to cover.
