Ayudemos a Tavo - OA4GL

-English below- Hola! Soy Mila y este es Tavo Lamas, mi querido papá; también trompetista, melómano, radioaficionado (OA4GL), locutor e incansable emprendedor. Hace casi 3 meses ingresó a la clínica con un cuadro de neumonía que se complicó aún más estando internado, lo que le ha dejado secuelas respiratorias y físicas importantes.

Acaba de cumplir 2 meses en UCI y recientemente ha dejado el ventilador mecánico :) Ahora está luchando por ser el mismo de siempre, lo que demandará tiempo, mucha terapia física y cuidados. Lamentablemente su seguro médico solo cubre el 70% de los gastos, los que son bastante elevados tras casi 3 meses de internamiento. Hemos logrado solventar la mayor parte con ayuda de nuestra familia, pero en este último tramo necesitamos el apoyo de todos los que lo conocen y quieren.

Ayúdanos a que su voz, trompeta y frecuencia sigan sonando fuerte. Tavo nos necesita!

Hi! I'm Mila and this is Tavo Lamas, my dear dad. Besides being an amazing father, he is also a trumpeter, a music lover, a radio amateur (OA4GL), a broadcaster and a relentless entrepreneur. Unfortunately, almost 3 months ago, he was hospitalized due to severe pneumonia, which worsened as days passed, leaving him with significant respiratory and physical damage. He just completed 2 months in the ICU and has recently come off the mechanical ventilator :)

Now he is struggling to return to his old self, but it will take time, a lot of physical therapy and care from doctors and nurses. We are lucky to have private medical insurance; however, it only covers 70% of the medical bills, which are quite high so far. We have managed to pay most of them with the help of our family, but in this last stretch, we need the support of those who know and love him.
