Ayudemos a Roberto Emilio Delgado Isaula

I want to share with all the people in the world the story we have lived with our relative (my uncle)  Roberto Emilio.  On May 7 he was admitted to the hospital in Chicago for corona virus.  On day 8 he was put on the mechanical ventilator. Since then it has been a constant struggle of willpower, the best medical team at the University of Illinois Hospital and of all the prayers of all those who love Roberto Emilio.  We have been happy for each new improvement. On June 10 we thought that the battle was won over as he finally came out of the mechanical ventilator. The wait had been long but one day later on June 11 we were devastated that he was put back on the ventilator. However, we did not lose faith that he would come out of it. After another week he was removed from the ventilator again and again we rejoiced that it had been 4 days without the ventilator.

Then I received the sad news that he had had a heart attack.  They did not give us a good forecast for his condition. Added to the fact that he was without oxygen we did not know the consequences.  A month after that awful day he continues to show us that he is a warrior, a fighter who will come out of this tough battle, but this is only the beginning.

After almost 3 long months he has finally defeated Covid-19. He has recently  tested negative but the cost has been devastating and he will require a long rehabilitation. He has lost all his motor abilities, for which he is going to need a lot of help. He needs a lot of therapy, to walk, eat, talk, a place to live, someone to help him in his daily life since he is still hospitalized and connected to the ventilator after having a tracheotomy, That is why we advocate to each one of you who can contribute so that my uncle continues to receive all the help possible.  For that reason we are requesting financial aid for him to help get him back with his family and living a productive life.  Any help is welcome and we hope God will multiply all your prayers and contributions, on behalf of his children , Victor Alfonso, Bryan Roberto, Shelsea Emilia, Roberto Emilio, Roberta and Roger Emilio.
