A few days ago, one of our family members found this dog was found after being hit by a car in Puebla, Mexico. She was unable to use her back legs and was dragging herself in pain.

This person rescued her, gave her food, water, and a safe place to stay. The following day, with the help of a local animal rescuer, she was taken to a veterinary clinic, where she received X-rays, diagnostic tests, and pain medication.

The tests revealed multiple fractures in her hip/pelvic area, and she now needs surgery. The veterinarian gave us hope: if she is treated in time, she has an excellent chance of making a full recovery and walking again.

The studies completed so far, and projected surgery costs sum approximately MXN $15,000 (USD $875), not including medications, transportation, or follow-up care

Because this is urgent, we are going to pay as much of the surgery as we can upfront so she doesn't have to wait, but we cannot cover the full cost on our own.

That's why we're asking for your help. Our goal is to raise USD $1,000 to help cover the surgery, the medical expenses already incurred, part of her recovery, and the platform's processing fees.

We are committed to sharing updates, photos, and receipts so everyone can see how every contribution is used. Every donation, no matter how small, brings her one step closer to a second chance.

In the meantime, our family member will give her a safe temporary home and care for her until she recovers and we can find her a loving forever home.

Hace unos días, un familiar nuestro encontró esta perrita atropellada en Puebla, México. Estaba en la calle, sin poder usar sus patas traseras y arrastrándose por el dolor.

Esta persona la rescató, le dio comida, agua y un lugar seguro para pasar la noche. Al día siguiente, con ayuda de una rescatista local, fue llevada a una veterinaria, donde le hicieron placas, estudios y le dieron analgésicos.

Los estudios revelaron varias fracturas en la cadera/pelvis y la necesidad de cirugía. El veterinario nos dio esperanza: si se opera a tiempo, tiene muy buenas posibilidades de recuperarse y volver a caminar.

Los estudios ya realizados, mas el costo aproximado de la cirugía suman aproximadamente MXN $15,000 (USD $875), sin incluir medicamentos, transporte ni cuidados posteriores.

Por la urgencia, vamos a adelantar todo lo que podamos del costo de la cirugía para que no tenga que esperar, pero no podemos absorber el total de los gastos sin ayuda.

Por eso acudimos a ustedes. Nuestra meta es recaudar USD $1,000 para cubrir la cirugía, los estudios ya realizados, parte de la recuperación y las comisiones de la plataforma.

Nos comprometemos a compartir actualizaciones, fotos y recibos para que todos puedan ver cómo se utiliza cada aporte. Cada donación, por pequeña que sea, nos acerca un paso más a darle una segunda oportunidad.
