¡Hola! Mi nombre es Alicia Higgins, en esta ocasión me dirijo a ustedes en nombre de mi mamá Nylama López, quien es venezolana y se encuentra en estos momentos residenciada en Maracaibo, Venezuela. Mi mamá es una mujer luchadora y trabajadora de  59 años de edad, que me crió como madre soltera y económicamente solo cuenta con mi apoyo, soy su única hija.  Como es sabido por todos la situación de Venezuela me obligó a salir de mi país hace casi 4 años y me encuentro residenciada en Argentina.  

En estos momentos mi  mamá está necesitando de una intervención URGENTE para destapar una obstrucción que está presentando en sus venas, lo que le impide respirar correctamente  y que su corazón reciba el bombeo de sangre necesario para funcionar.

Por lo tanto su médico tratante el Dr. Luis Rodríguez Cardiólogo- Internista, quien posee cédula de identidad venezolana 20.214.351 MPPS 103022. COMEZU 15895 ha solicitado realizarle con urgencia un CATETERISMO CARDIACO Y ANGIOPLASTIA CON COLOCACIÓN DE UN 1 STENS.

¿De qué se trata todo esto?

Básicamente lo que mi mamá necesita es poder respirar y esa vía la cual lleva el oxígeno al corazón está siendo bloqueada.

La angioplastia es un procedimiento para abrir vasos sanguíneos estrechos o bloqueados que suministran sangre al corazón. Estos vasos sanguíneos se denominan arterias coronarias.

Un stent (endoprótesis vascular) de arteria coronaria es un pequeño tubo de malla de metal que se expande dentro de una arteria del corazón. Un stent a menudo se coloca durante o inmediatamente después de una angioplastia y ayuda a impedir que la arteria se cierre de nuevo. Un stent liberador de fármaco contiene un medicamento permanente que ayuda a evitar que la arteria se cierre a largo plazo.

Ahora ella está siendo atendida y ayudada por sus hermanos, los que se encuentran con ella en Venezuela y también los que están lejos.

Para nadie es un secreto la situación que se vive en Venezuela. Los hospitales no están en funcionamiento pleno y esta intervención será necesaria llevarla a una clínica privada. Por este motivo, recurrimos a este recurso para que muchos puedan involucrarse y ser parte de esta campaña que le dará a mi mamá, posiblemente, muchos años de vida.

Mi Fe es cristiana. Creo en Dios y en Jesús como nuestro salvador. Y aunque hoy estamos atravesando esta prueba, estoy convencida de que la batalla ya está librada. Los cielos manifiestan el poder de Dios en la tierra y su PROVISIÓN SOBRENATURAL VENDRÁ.

What is this all about?

Basically what my mom needs is to be able to breathe and that pathway that carries oxygen to the heart is being blocked.

Angioplasty is a procedure to open narrow or blocked blood vessels that supply blood to the heart. These blood vessels are called coronary arteries.

A coronary artery stent is a small metal mesh tube that expands into an artery in the heart. A stent is often placed during or immediately after angioplasty and helps prevent the artery from closing again. A drug-eluting stent contains a permanent drug that helps prevent the artery from closing in the long term.

Now she is being cared for and helped by her brothers, those who are with her in Venezuela, and also those who are far away.

The situation in Venezuela is no secret to anyone. The hospitals are not fully operational and this intervention will need to be taken to a private clinic. For this reason, we turn to this resource so that many can get involved and be part of this campaign that will give my mother, possibly, many years of life.

My Faith is Christian. I believe in God and Jesus as our savior. And although we are going through this test today, I am convinced that the battle is already fought. The heavens manifest God's power on earth and his SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY WILL COME.
