Jose Domingo is in Venezuela and is going through a very difficult situation due to a medical condition that I will describe below and that requires urgently raising funds for medication, hospital care for an amputation of the 5th toe of the left foot plus surgical cleaning and post-hospital care. .
Due to his disease (Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, requires taking insulin) with which he has lived for a long time. His quality of life and health has been deteriorating and at this time he needs our support.
In 2018, he underwent surgery and underwent a Supracondylar Amputation of the right lower limb (right leg amputation), finding findings of necrosis in the right foot at the level of the bed of previous amputation of the 4th and 5th toes, flictenas with exudate purulent in the distal third of the leg, edema of the subcutaneous and muscular tissue, partially obstructed atheromatous femoral artery. Also, as a result of his illness, he presented Glaucoma in his right eye, which caused him to lose 100% of his vision in that eye.
Currently, as mentioned, you need to undergo another Wagner IV diabetic foot surgery, as soon as possible to avoid left foot amputation (Left 5th toe amputation plus surgical cleaning).
In Venezuela, the health system is in a precarious situation and to cover all the treatment, a large sum of money is required.
