Hola, mi nombre es Johana y hoy quiero contarles la historia de mi papá, un hombre trabajador, luchador y lleno de vida, que recientemente enfrentó uno de los desafíos más grandes de su vida.

Hace unas semanas, mi papá tuvo que someterse a una cirugía de amputación de pierna debido a una complicación médica que, lamentablemente, le estaba generando un gran sufrimiento. Esta fue la mejor opción para evitar un mayor deterioro en su salud y, aunque ha sido un proceso difícil, él lo ha enfrentado con una fortaleza admirable y una actitud positiva que nos inspira a todos.

A pesar de las dificultades, su mayor deseo es volver a trabajar, recuperar su independencia y seguir siendo un pilar para nuestra familia. Se está esforzando muchísimo en su proceso de recuperación: cada día entrena con más empeño, hace sus terapias con disciplina y sueña con el momento en que pueda caminar nuevamente con la ayuda de una prótesis.

Hello, my name is Johana, and today I want to share the story of my dad, a hardworking, determined, and lively man who recently faced one of the biggest challenges of his life.

A few weeks ago, my dad had to undergo a leg amputation surgery due to a medical complication that was unfortunately causing him significant suffering. This was the best option to prevent further deterioration of his health, and although it has been a difficult process, he has faced it with admirable strength and a positive attitude that inspires all of us around him.

Despite the challenges, his greatest desire is to return to work, regain his independence, and continue being a pillar for our family. He is working incredibly hard on his recovery: each day he trains with more effort, follows his therapy with discipline, and dreams of the moment when he can walk again with the help of a prosthesis.
