Hola, hoy escribo estas líneas con el corazón en la mano para pedir ayuda por alguien muy especial para nuestra familia: madre, abuela, suegra y pilar de nuestro hogar, Alexis.

Alexis tiene 79 años y recientemente fue diagnosticada con una lesión en el colon descendente, con sospecha de plastrón diverticular o neoplasia, además de anemia y otras complicaciones que hacen necesaria una cirugía urgente. Los médicos han sido claros: la operación no puede seguir esperando.

Actualmente nos encontramos en Venezuela, donde los costos médicos son muy elevados. El monto total de la cirugía, exámenes y gastos asociados asciende a 4.000 dólares, una cifra que lamentablemente se nos hace muy difícil costear solos como familia.

Nuestra madre, abuela y suegra Alexis es una mujer fuerte, llena de risas, amor y sabiduría. Ha sido siempre el apoyo incondicional de todos, la que nos ha cuidado, guiado y unido como familia. Aún tiene muchas experiencias por vivir, muchas historias por contar y muchos momentos más que compartir con nosotros.

Hoy somos nosotros quienes queremos estar para ella y hacer todo lo posible para tenerla más años con nosotros.

Por esta razón acudimos a esta campaña, con humildad y esperanza, para pedir su apoyo. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, es un granito de arena que nos acerca a salvar su vida. Y si no puedes donar, compartir esta campaña también es una forma inmensa de ayudar.

Hello, today we write these words with our hearts in our hands to ask for help for someone very special to our family: our mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and the pillar of our home, Alexis.

Alexis is 79 years old and was recently diagnosed with a lesion in the descending colon, with suspicion of a diverticular mass or neoplasia, in addition to anemia and other complications that make an urgent surgery necessary. The doctors have been clear: the surgery cannot wait any longer.

We are currently in Venezuela, where medical costs are very high. The total cost of the surgery, medical tests, and related expenses is $4,000 USD, an amount that is unfortunately very difficult for us to cover on our own as a family.

Our mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law Alexis is a strong woman, full of laughter, love, and wisdom. She has always been our unconditional support — the one who has cared for us, guided us, and kept our family united.
