¡Hola! Hoy queremos hablarles de Mauricio, un tío, hermano, amigo, vecino y cuñado increíble. Es una persona muy especial que vino a este mundo para intentar vivir su vida lo mejor posible, aunque su TDAH y TEA (entre otras dificultades) no siempre le permitan complacer a los demás. Siempre ha sido amable y cariñoso con todos los que ha conocido, y cualquiera que lo conozca personalmente sabe lo generoso que es y lo dedicado que está a ayudar a los demás, incluso con grandes limitaciones. Desde que tiene memoria, ha sufrido diversos problemas de salud, y, como su familia, hemos tenido que cuidarlo durante 70 años, dándole a veces todo lo que teníamos para ayudarlo a superar los momentos difíciles de su vida. Lamentablemente, el seguro ya no nos ayuda; no cubre nada y tendremos que recaudar fondos para poder costear una delicada operación de reemplazo de rodilla (sustituir la rodilla actual por una más compleja que requiere varios procedimientos), ya que casi no puede caminar, lo que limita su calidad de vida. Su pierna está completamente arqueada y su prótesis anterior ya está desalineada. Necesitamos esto urgentemente o podría sufrir un accidente o un dolor mucho peor del que ya padece. Necesitamos su generosidad para que, poco a poco, podamos recaudar fondos para ayudarlo.
Hello! Today we’d like to talk about Mauricio, he’s an incredible uncle, brother, friend, neighbor and brother in law.
He’s a very special human being, who came to this world to try and live his life as best as he’s able to, even if his ADHD and ASD (amongst other personal loads) don’t always let him be stereotypically pleasing to others. He’s always been gentle and sweet with everyone he’s met and anyone who knows him personally knows, just how big of a heart he has and how dedicated he is to helping others, even with big limitations.
Ever since he can remember, he’s suffered, presenting multiple health issues, and, as his family, we’ve had to take care of him for 70 years, giving sometimes everything we have at hand, to help him overcome hard moments in his life.
Unfortunately, insurance doesn’t help anymore, they won’t cover anything for us and we’ll have to raise funds in order to be able to pay for a delicate knee replacement operation (replacing the knee he currently has with a more complex one that requires multiple procedures), since he almost can’t walk, limiting his quality and enjoyment of life.
His leg is completely curved, and his old prosthetic is already out of place, we need this urgently or he might suffer from some accident or far worst pain than he’s already in.
We need your kind heart so that, little by little, we can raise a fund to help him.
