Mrs. María Sara needs our urgent help.

Mrs. María Sara is facing a serious health problem in one of her kidneys. She currently has kidney stones that are completely blocking the flow of urine, and they have also found pus, which has caused the kidney to swell and retain fluids and pus as well. The other condition they have diagnosed is called Septic Shock (below I will explain in detail what it is and what it represents). The doctor has informed her that, due to her advanced age, her body would not be able to survive with only one kidney, so it is urgent that she undergo surgery as soon as possible to save her life.

This surgery is vital. Every minute counts, and time is not on our side. That's why we're asking for your help—any contribution, no matter how small, can make a huge difference so María Sara can receive the medical care she desperately needs.

What is Septic Shock?

Septic shock is a very serious medical condition that occurs when a severe infection gets out of control and affects the entire body. It can be fatal if not treated quickly.

What exactly is it?

It's an extreme form of sepsis, which is when an infection causes the body to overreact and damage its own organs.

In septic shock:

• Blood pressure drops significantly.

• Organs (kidneys, heart, lungs, etc.) begin to fail.

• Blood does not circulate well.

• It can lead to death if not treated quickly in a hospital, since it started as a bacteria and since it was not treated in time, it turned into what is called Septic Shock.

La señora María Sara necesita nuestra ayuda urgente

La señora María Sara enfrenta un grave problema de salud en uno de sus riñones. Actualmente tiene piedras renales que están bloqueando por completo la salida de la orina, y a parte le han encontrado pus , lo que ha provocado que el riñón se inflame y retenga líquidos y el pus también. La otra enfermedad que le han encontrado se llama Choque Séptico(más abajo les explico detalladamente lo que es y que es). El doctor ha informado que, debido a su edad avanzada, su cuerpo no podría resistir vivir con un solo riñón, por lo que es urgente operarla lo antes posible para salvarle la vida.

Esta cirugía es vital. Cada minuto cuenta, y el tiempo no está a nuestro favor. Por eso estamos pidiendo tu ayuda —cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, puede marcar una gran diferencia para que María Sara reciba la atención médica que necesita desesperadamente.

Que es el Choque Séptico?

El choque séptico (o shock séptico) es una condición médica muy grave que ocurre cuando una infección severa se sale de control y afecta a todo el cuerpo. Puede ser mortal si no se trata rápido.

¿Qué es exactamente?

Es una forma extrema de sepsis, que es cuando una infección hace que el cuerpo reaccione de forma exagerada y dañe sus propios órganos.

En el choque séptico:

• La presión arterial baja mucho.

• Los órganos (riñones, corazón, pulmones, etc.) empiezan a fallar.

• La sangre no circula bien.

• Puede llevar a la muerte si no se actúa rápido en un hospital ya que empezó como una bacteria y como no se trató a tiempo se convirtió en lo que se llama Choque Séptico.
