Es momento de unirnos y usar las bendiciones que Dios nos ha dado para ayudar a los más vulnerables y afectados por este terremoto en Colombia. ❤️

El reciente terremoto ha dejado familias sin hogar, personas sobreviviendo entre los escombros, niños enfrentando el miedo y comunidades enteras luchando por salir adelante en medio de esta emergencia.

Queremos aportar nuestro granito de arena y usar las bendiciones que Dios nos ha dado, no para ser ajenos a las dificultades de otros, sino para recordar que somos bendecidos para bendecir.

Los fondos serán destinados a fundaciones que trabajan directamente con pequeñas comunidades afectadas que muchas veces no reciben suficiente visibilidad ni ayuda, permitiendo que cada aporte tenga un impacto más directo, cercano y significativo.

Actualmente, los aportes serán destinados a las siguientes dos fundaciones:

1. Fundación Yo Creo: Enfocada principalmente en los niños en Pereira. Llevará insumos, cobijas, almohadas, regalos y un mensaje de esperanza en Jesús a los niños y familias afectados en Pereira.

2. Fundación JUP (Juntos por el Progreso): llevará alimentos, insumos y materiales para apoyar la reconstrucción de comunidades afectadas en el Valle del Cauca, específicamente en Sevilla, San Pedro, Tuluá y Yotoco.

Conozco personalmente a los fundadores o representantes de las organizaciones y hemos verificado su documentación legal y bancaria para garantizar que los fondos lleguen directamente a cuentas oficiales de las fundaciones. Además, mantendremos comunicación directa para conocer las necesidades, el destino de los recursos y compartir reportes con nuestros donantes.

Mi nombre es Felipe Gómez. Soy colombiano y actualmente vivo en Washington, D.C. Aunque hoy estoy lejos de mi país, Colombia es mi hogar y mi gente. Quiero usar la comunidad con la que Dios me ha bendecido aquí en Estados Unidos para ser un puente de ayuda hacia quienes hoy más lo necesitan.

La transparencia es mi prioridad absoluta. Quiero que cada persona que decida aportar tenga la tranquilidad y confianza de saber a dónde está llegando su aporte y cómo está siendo utilizado. Por eso, compartiré reportes de todo el proceso, desde la transferencia de los fondos hasta su uso por parte de las fundaciones y las comunidades beneficiadas.

It’s time to come together and use the blessings God has given us to help those most vulnerable and affected by this earthquake in Colombia. ❤️

The recent earthquake has left families without homes, people surviving among the rubble, children facing fear, and entire communities struggling to move forward in the midst of this emergency.

We want to do our part and use the blessings God has given us, not to remain indifferent to the struggles of others, but to remember that we are blessed to be a blessing.

The funds will go to foundations working directly with small affected communities that often receive limited visibility and assistance, allowing each contribution to have a more direct, personal, and meaningful impact.

Currently, donations will support the following two foundations:

1. Fundación Yo Creo: Primarily focused on children in Pereira. They will provide essential supplies, blankets, pillows, gifts, and a message of hope in Jesus to affected children and families in Pereira.

2. Fundación JUP (Juntos por el Progreso): They will provide food, essential supplies, and materials to support the rebuilding of affected communities in Valle del Cauca, specifically in Sevilla, San Pedro, Tuluá, and Yotoco.

I personally know the founders or representatives of these organizations, and we have verified their legal and banking documentation to ensure that the funds are sent directly to the foundations’ official accounts. We will also remain in direct communication with them to understand each community’s needs, track how the funds are used, and share reports with our donors.

My name is Felipe Gómez. I’m Colombian and currently live in Washington, D.C. Although I may be far from my country today, Colombia is my home and its people are my people. I want to use the community God has blessed me with here in the United States to be a bridge of support for those who need it most.

Transparency is my absolute priority. I want every person who chooses to contribute to have the confidence and peace of mind of knowing where their donation is going and how it is being used. That’s why I will share reports throughout the entire process—from the transfer of the funds to how they are ultimately used by the foundations and the communities they serve.
