Hola a todos!

Soy Patricia Perozo, y he creado esta campaña en nombre de mis amigas Gabriela y Adriana Boffa para recaudar fondos para la operación de su mamá, y ayudarla a que camine sin dolor de nuevo.

La señora Mary, es una mujer de casi 70 años, súper activa que desde finales de noviembre 2024 aproximadamente, comenzó a padecer de un dolor que en principio, se pensó, se debía al nervio ciático.

Después de varias terapias de dolor, todas sin éxito, porque su dolor aún seguía e incrementaba, acudió a tres traumatólogos diferentes para una evaluación, quienes finalmente dieron diagnóstico, de: "Osteoartrosis de cadera derecha Tonnis II". Y necesita no sólo ser operada obligatoriamente y cuánto antes, sino también colocarle implante en su cadera derecha para frenar el desgaste de los huesos y que pueda caminar bien, sin dolor y sin ayuda de un bastón.

Su mamá actualmente vive en Venezuela, y no cuenta en estos momentos con un seguro médico que cubra todo el gasto que implica, no solo la operación en sí, sino también su óptima recuperación.

Es por ello que apelamos a su buen corazón, y a quienes quieran apoyarnos bien sea donando o compartiendo y difundiendo, para que esto ocurra. No hace falta decir que la situación de Venezuela, es a nivel mundial notoria y muy complicada, y contamos con ustedes de la manera que sea que puedan ayudar.

Adjuntamos informes médicos, radiografías y presupuesto de la operación, esperando que toda la información sea la necesaria para lograr el objetivo que su mamá, pueda llevar una vida normal sin dolor al caminar.

Todo suma, y estamos enormemente agradecidas de su colaboración de antemano.

Hello everyone!

My name is Patricia Perozo, and I have created this campaign on behalf of my dear friends, Gabriela and Adriana, to help raise funds for their mother’s surgery—so she can walk again without pain.

Mary is an incredibly active woman, approaching 70, who suddenly began experiencing severe pain in late November. At first, it was believed to be related to the sciatic nerve. However, after multiple unsuccessful pain treatments and consultations with three different orthopedic specialists, she was diagnosed with Right hip Osteoarthritis Tönnis grade II.

Her condition requires urgent surgery, along with the placement of an implant in her right hip to prevent further bone deterioration. This procedure is essential to help her regain mobility and walk comfortably, even with the assistance of a cane.

Mary lives in Venezuela and, unfortunately, does not have medical insurance that covers the costs of the surgery and the necessary post-operative care. Given the well-known challenges of the healthcare system in Venezuela, we are reaching out to kind-hearted people like you for support.

We would be incredibly grateful for any help you can provide—whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign with others. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to giving Mary the pain-free life she deserves.
