Evelin Marisol Galdámez Hernández es una joven nacida en una familia de escasos recursos en Cantón Playa El Zonte El Salvador madre soltera de 21 años de edad con muchas ganas de vivir y trabajar para cuidar y educar a su bebe de 4 meses.
Lastimosamente el 6 de Junio ella comenzó con convulsiones recurrentes y perdida de la memoria por lo que fue llevada a diferentes doctores para empezar a aliviar muchas molestias y encontrar la raíz de su enfermedad.
Primero fue llevada con un dermatólogo debido que ella tenia un lunar de nacimiento el cual creció durante el tiempo de embarazo, se realizo la extirpación y el diagnostico de la biopsia es Melanoma nodular, piel de la espalda.
Las recomendaciones fueron hacer tomografía cerebral la cual dio como resultado Metástasis al sistema nervioso central, parte de el protocolo de tratamiento de Metástasis al sistema nervioso central es un tratamiento de radioterapia.
Es necesario empezar lo mas pronto posible para evitar que con el tiempo pueda llegar a otros órganos del cuerpo y esta es la razón de nuestra campaña.
Los fondos recaudados ayudaran a Evelin a comenzar su tratamiento de radioterapia, luego hacer sus quimioterapias comprar medicamentos y asegurar que su bebe tenga todo lo necesario mientras ella se sobrepone al cáncer.

Evelin Marisol Galdamez Hernandez is a 21 year old single mother from Playa El Zonte, El Salavdor with a deep love for life. Her biggest motivation in life is to work so she can provide a good life for her 4 month old baby girl.
Unfortunately, on the 6th of June she began to have seizures on a regular basis and to experience memory loss. After visiting a number of doctors in an effort to figure out what was happening, a dermatologist biopsied a mole on her upper back that appeared to have grown during her pregnancy.
The biopsy revealed a nodular melanoma. She was then advised to do a brain scan where they discovered that the cancer had metastasized to her central nervous system.
The protocols in place for this situation is radiation to target the cancer cells in her central nervous system followed by chemotherapy. It needs to be done as soon as possible in order to prevent this fast spreading cancer from reaching other organs in her body.
The donated funds from this campaign will go directly towards Evelin’s treatment which includes radiation, chemotherapy & various medications. In addition, some of the funds will be used to ensure her baby has everything she needs while her mother fights to overcome this aggressive form cancer. Any little bit helps.
