Ayudemos a mi abuela Emilia a recuperar su movilidad y calidad de vida, una hija de Dios muy amada de nuestra familia.

Hace aproximadamente tres meses, mi abuela comenzó a sufrir fuertes dolores en la zona lumbar que se extienden hacia sus piernas, acompañados de una importante pérdida de fuerza y sensibilidad en sus piernas, dificultad para mantenerse de pie o sentada y pérdida parcial del control de esfínteres.

Después de ser evaluada por los especialistas en Traumatología y Neurocirugía, fue diagnosticada con:

- Enfermedad discal degenerativa

- Estrechamiento del canal dorsal y lumbar

- Discopatías lumbares y

- Espondilolistesis degenerativa.

Debido a su condición, mi abuela necesita recibir un tratamiento médico-quirúrgico, seguido de fisioterapia y rehabilitación como parte fundamental de su recuperación.

La cirugía requiere material e implantes especializados para estabilizar su columna, incluyendo un sistema de fijación con 6 tornillos transpediculares, barras de titanio, conectores y cemento para vertebroplastia, además de instrumental especializado, neuromonitoreo durante la intervención, honorarios médicos de los especialistas, costos relacionados con la cirugía, hospitalización, medicamentos, fisioterapia y rehabilitación.

Nuestra meta es reunir $20,000 USD para cubrir su cirugía, materiales quirúrgicos, tratamiento médico, rehabilitación y otros gastos relacionados con su recuperación en Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Para nuestra familia, reunir esta cantidad representa un enorme desafío. Por eso hoy recurrimos a familiares, amigos, conocidos y a todas las personas de buen corazón que puedan ayudarnos.

Help us help my grandmother Emilia, regain her mobility and quality of life, a beloved child of God who is deeply loved by our family.

Approximately three months ago, my grandmother began suffering from severe pain in her lower back that extends into her legs, accompanied by significant loss of strength and sensation in her legs, difficulty remaining standing or sitting, and partial loss of bladder and bowel control.

After being evaluated by specialists in Traumatology and Neurosurgery, she was diagnosed with:

-Degenerative disc disease.

-Narrowing of the thoracic and lumbar spinal canal.

-Lumbar disc disease.

-Degenerative spondylolisthesis.

Due to her condition, my grandmother needs to undergo medical-surgical treatment, followed by physical therapy and rehabilitation as a fundamental part of her recovery.

The surgery requires specialized materials and implants to stabilize her spine, including a fixation system with 6 transpedicular screws, titanium rods, connectors, and cement for vertebroplasty, as well as specialized instruments, neuromonitoring during the procedure, medical fees for the specialists, costs related to the surgery, hospitalization, medications, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 USD to cover her surgery, surgical materials, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and other expenses related to her recovery in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
