Hace más de un mes la erupción del volcán Cumbre Vieja cambió por completo la vida de los residentes en la isla de La Palma. Lamentablemente, uno de nuestros Técnicos, Eligio Tejera, se ha visto seriamente afectado al perder su hogar sepultado por la lava. Aunque afortunadamente él y su familia se encuentra bien, su situación se ha agravado al tener que ser nuevamente realojados debido a los gases tóxicos emitidos por el volcán.
Hace más de un mes la erupción del volcán Cumbre Vieja cambió por completo la vida de los residentes en la isla de La Palma. Lamentablemente, uno de nuestros Técnicos, Eligio Tejera, se ha visto seriamente afectado al perder su hogar sepultado por la lava. Aunque afortunadamente él y su familia se encuentra bien, su situación se ha agravado al tener que ser nuevamente realojados debido a los gases tóxicos emitidos por el volcán.
Eligio se incorporó a TK Elevator en 1982 y vivía en la localidad de Todoque, una de las más afectadas por este desastre natural. Lleva con nosotros más de treinta años, en los que su compromiso ha sido constante y modélico. Hoy queremos mandarle un mensaje de apoyo y recordarle que, en estas circunstancias tan difíciles, no se encuentra solo, toda la familia de TK Elevator está junto a él.
A petición de muchos compañeros y dada la avalancha de solidaridad demostrada estas últimas semanas, hemos puesto en marcha esta campaña para ayudarle a reconstruir su hogar.

The eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano in September completely changed the lives of the residents on the island of La Palma, Spain. Unfortunately, one of our technicians, Eligio Tejera, has been seriously affected as his home was buried by lava. Although fortunately he and his family are well, his situation has been aggravated by having to be re-housed again due to the toxic gases emitted by the volcano.
Eligio joined TK Elevator in 1982 and lived in Todoque, one of the areas most affected by this natural disaster. He has been with us for more than thirty years, during which his commitment has been constant and exemplary. Today we want to send him a message of support and remind him that, in these difficult circumstances, he is not alone, the whole TK Elevator family is with him.
At the request of many colleagues and given the outpouring of solidarity shown in recent weeks, we have launched this campaign to help him rebuild his home.
