Hace dos meses, nuestra querida Mónica Trujillo, madre de dos hijos, hija , amiga e instructora fitness apasionada, sufrió un aneurisma cerebral que cambió su vida en un instante. Fue ingresada de emergencia en estado crítico, pasó dos meses en terapia intensiva, en coma inducido, y tuvo que someterse a seis cirugías.

Aunque Mónica ha mostrado una fuerza y valentía increíbles, el camino hacia su recuperación es largo y desafiante. El aneurisma afectó una zona delicada de su cerebro, dejándola con secuelas que le impiden caminar y tragar por sí sola. Para recuperar estas funciones básicas y regresar a la vida que tanto ama, necesita terapias neurológicas intensivas diarias, las cuales son cruciales para su rehabilitación y deben empezar cuanto antes.

Desafortunadamente, aunque cuenta con seguro médico, las terapias especializadas que requiere por varios meses están limitadas y se tendrán que cubrir por nuestra cuenta, y los costos son muy elevados, más gastos extraordinarios. Por ello, recurrimos a ti, a tu empatía y solidaridad, para ayudarnos a brindarle a Mónica la oportunidad de sanar.

Las terapias se realizarán en la Ciudad de México, lejos de su hogar en Los Cabos, pero cerca de los especialistas que pueden ayudarla. Cada donativo, sin importar el monto, será un paso hacia su recuperación y un gesto invaluable para su familia.

Help Us Give Mónica Trujillo Her Life Back

Two months ago, our beloved Mónica Trujillo—mother of two, daughter, sister, friend and passionate fitness instructor—suffered a brain aneurysm that changed her life in an instant. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, spent two months in intensive care under an induced coma, and underwent six surgeries.

Although Mónica has shown incredible strength and courage, her road to recovery is long and challenging. The aneurysm affected a delicate area of her brain, leaving her unable to walk or swallow on her own. To regain these basic functions and return to the life she loves, she urgently needs daily intensive neurological therapies that are essential for her rehabilitation.

Unfortunately, despite having health insurance, these specialized therapies will need to be covered by us, and the costs are overwhelming. That’s why we’re turning to you—to your empathy and solidarity—to help give Mónica the chance to heal.

The therapies will take place in Mexico City, far from her home in Los Cabos, but close to the specialists who can help her. Every donation, no matter the amount, will be a step toward her recovery and an invaluable gift to her family.
