Daniel es un excelente estudiante, tesista y auxiliar docente venezolano de 39 años diagnosticado con Trastorno Afectivo Bipolar tipo I (maníaco-depresivo extremo) desde hace larga data (diagnosticado desde los 19 años). Desde el 13 de octubre de 2024 presenta un episodio depresivo mayor muy grave con autolesiones constantes en cabeza/rostro, extremidades y riesgo inminente de suicidio ante un fuerte detonante que fue el accidente de su madre, cuidadora de persona con trastorno mental y mejor amiga (Aura Villanueva) quien sufrió un traumatismo craneoencefálico severo (hematoma subdural) y un derrame cerebral dentro de las 24 horas siguientes mientras Daniel estuvo presente en todos los eventos. Actualmente su madre se encuentra muy delicada en cuidados intermedios, con casi movilidad motora nula y seminconsciencia (de pronóstico reservado) lo que ha deteriorado vorazmente la salud mental de Daniel hasta el punto de llevarlo a intentar quitarse la vida ante cualquier escenario lamentable.

Por consiguiente, se recomienda su inmediata hospitalización en la clínica “El Cedral” (Caracas, Venezuela), centro donde es parte de la directiva el psiquiatra Dr. Nelson León (@pulsodeleon , en Instagram), quien sigue su caso ,conoce detalladamente condición psiquiátrica y el contexto familiar actual.
