El 24 de junio de 2026, los devastadores terremotos que sacudieron a Venezuela cambiaron la vida de miles de familias. Entre ellas está la de nuestro querido amigo Cesar Lasso.

Cesar, su esposa y su pequeño hijo lo perdieron absolutamente todo cuando el Edificio Rita, ubicado en San Bernardino, Caracas, colapsó durante los devastadores terremotos del 24 de junio de 2026. En cuestión de segundos desaparecieron su hogar, sus pertenencias y los recuerdos que habían construido con tanto esfuerzo a lo largo de los años.

Gracias a Dios, Cesar y su familia no se encontraban en el apartamento cuando ocurrió el derrumbe. Sin embargo, sus dos perritos sí estaban allí. Después de horas de angustia, uno de ellos pudo ser rescatado con vida entre los escombros al final de la noche. El otro, lamentablemente, fue encontrado sin vida al día siguiente, una pérdida que ha hecho este momento aún más doloroso para la familia.

Quienes conocemos a Cesar sabemos la clase de persona que es. Es un hombre humilde, trabajador, generoso y siempre dispuesto a ayudar a los demás. Ama profundamente a su familia, a su país y a su comunidad, y ha estado presente para muchas personas cuando lo han necesitado. Hoy es él quien necesita de nosotros.

Hemos creado esta campaña para ayudar a César, a su esposa y a su hijo a dar los primeros pasos para reconstruir sus vidas. La pérdida material ha sido total, por lo que esta ayuda está destinada a apoyar su proceso de recuperación y a servir como impulso para un nuevo comienzo.

On June 24, 2026, the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela changed the lives of thousands of families. Among them is the family of our dear friend, Cesar Lasso.

Cesar, his wife, and their young son lost absolutely everything when the Rita Building in San Bernardino, Caracas, collapsed during the devastating earthquakes on June 24, 2026. In a matter of seconds, their home, all of their belongings, and the memories they had worked so hard to build over the years were gone.

By the grace of God, Cesar and his family were not inside the apartment when the building collapsed. However, their two beloved dogs were. After hours of anguish, one of them was rescued alive from the rubble late that night. Sadly, the other was found the following day and did not survive, a heartbreaking loss that has made this tragedy even more painful for the family.

Those who know Cesar know what kind of person he is. He is humble, hardworking, generous, and always willing to help others. He deeply loves his family, his country, and his community, and he has been there for so many people in their times of need. Today, he is the one who needs our help.

We created this fundraiser to help Cesar, his wife, and their son take the first steps toward rebuilding their lives. They have lost everything, and your support will help them begin their recovery and provide hope as they start over.
