Brenda Heal & Recover After a Devastating Attack
Brenda is more than just a mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt—she is the heart of our family. A woman of God with an infectious joy, she lights up every room she enters. Whether it’s her dance moves, her singing, her radiant smile, or her quick wit, Brenda makes every family gathering unforgettable. She is dependable, loving, and always shows up for those she cares about.
A week ago, our beloved Brenda endured a terrifying and traumatic event. As she arrived home, her rescue dog—who had been showing increasing signs of aggression—suddenly attacked her. Despite her love for him and her deep compassion, the dog would not let go of her arm. She fought for her life, desperately seeking help from her neighbors, who were finally able to free her and call for an ambulance.
When Brenda arrived at the hospital, doctors were unsure if they could save her arm. But we know that prayer changes things. Her village gathered, lifting her up to God, crying out for a miracle. And God, in His infinite mercy, made a way. Her arm was salvageable—but not without a long road ahead, full of surgeries, procedures, and a difficult recovery.
Brenda is still in the hospital, and while we are beyond grateful that she is alive and healing, we also recognize the challenges that await her once she is discharged. As someone who has always given so much to others, we want to ensure she doesn’t have to carry this burden alone.
We are asking for another miracle—this time in the form of provision. Our goal is to alleviate the financial stress of medical expenses, lost income, and daily responsibilities so that Brenda can focus on healing. If you know her, you know she is the last person to ask for help, but also the first to offer it. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
If you feel it in your heart to give, no amount is too small. And if you can’t give financially, we ask that you continue to lift her up in prayer. We believe in the power of love, faith, and community, and we know that with God and all of you, Brenda will come out of this stronger than ever.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and prayers.
With gratitude,
Brenda’s Family
