Hola!! Soy Joaquín Ignacio y nací en Guatemala el 11 de junio de 2,024.

Mi mami Sonia tiene hipertensión y resistencia a la insulina y eso hizo que tuviera un embarazo con muchos controles para evitar que yo naciera mal.

Sin embargo el día que nací le tuvieron que hacer una cesárea de emergencia porque me quedé sin líquido amniótico y la placenta tuvo 6 infartos. Cuando la doctora me sacó descubrieron que ya me había hecho popis adentro.

Cuando nací los doctores empezaron a hacerme exámenes y me ingresaron al intensivo, ya que ellos encontraron que tengo problemas con el corazón, mi riñón derecho tiene muchos quistes y está funcionando solamente mi riñón izquierdo.

Como parte de mi tratamiento necesito oxígeno y medicamentos para mi corazón. Y necesito continuar en el intensivo y esto es muy caro.

Por lo que mis papis (Sonia y Jorge) y yo necesitamos de su apoyo económico para que pueda continuar mi tratamiento y puedan costear las pruebas que aún tenemos pendientes de realizarme.

Dios ha colocado a excelentes doctores que están luchando junto a nosotros porque yo salga de acá sano.

Hello!! I am Joaquín Ignacio and I was born in Guatemala on June 11, 2024.

My mom, Sonia, has hypertension and insulin resistance and so she was monitored carefully throughout her pregnancy with me to prevent me from having complications.

However, the day I was born they had to do an emergency cesarean section because I ran out of amniotic fluid and blood flow to the placenta was interrupted. When the doctor pulled me out they discovered that I had already pooped inside my mom (oops!).

When I was born, the doctors started to do my exams and I was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, when they found out that I have heart problems, my right kidney has many cysts and only my left kidney is working.

As part of my treatment, I need oxygen and medicine for my heart and I need to continue in the ICU, which is very expensive.

So my parents (Sonia & Jorge) and I need your financial support so that I can continue my treatment and can afford the tests that they still need to perform on me.

God has placed excellent doctors who are fighting alongside us so that I leave here healthy.

We thank you with all our hearts for all the displays of love that we have received, especially the help of my Aunt Jenny in Los Angeles, who is helping us raise funds to pay for all the expenses my parents have had.
