Hola, mi nombre es María Jesús y desde España estoy recaudando fondos para ayudar a un refugio de perros ubicado en Lima, Perú, donde cada día se salvan vidas que otros abandonaron.

El refugio se llama El Refugio de Sky, está en Lima, Perú, y fue fundado por José, una persona que ha entregado su vida entera al rescate y cuidado de perros en situación de abandono y enfermedad. Actualmente cuida a más de 200 perritos rescatados de la calle, muchos de ellos en estado crítico. José les brinda atención veterinaria inmediata, sin importar el costo, logrando salvar a más del 90 % de los perritos que llegan al refugio. Cada día, en el refugio se cocina comida casera con proteína y verduras, además de pienso, para que ninguno pase hambre. Sin embargo, los gastos son enormes y constantes: agua por cisterna (no cuentan con agua corriente), alquiler, electricidad, alimento, esterilizaciones, tratamientos veterinarios, vacunas, desparasitaciones y productos de limpieza.

En Perú, el abandono animal es una realidad que se ve en cada esquina. Mantener este refugio significa seguir salvando vidas, ofreciendo una segunda oportunidad a quienes sufrieron indiferencia y dolor. El amor mueve este lugar, pero el amor no paga facturas, y por eso hoy pedimos ayuda.

Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, marca una diferencia real. Un granito de arena puede convertirse en esperanza para estos perritos que solo desean vivir.

Hello, my name is María Jesús, and from Spain I am raising funds to support a dog shelter located in Lima, Peru, where lives are saved every single day.

The shelter is called El Refugio de Sky and is located in Lima, Peru. It was founded by José, who has dedicated his entire life to rescuing and caring for abandoned and sick dogs. However, the expenses are constant and overwhelming: water delivered by tanker trucks (there is no running water), rent, electricity, food, spay and neuter surgeries, veterinary treatments, vaccines, deworming, and cleaning and disinfection supplies.

In Peru, animal abandonment is a heartbreaking daily reality. Keeping this shelter running means continuing to save lives and offering a second chance to dogs who have suffered neglect and cruelty. Love keeps this place alive, but love alone does not pay the bills, and that is why your help is so important.
