Hi, my name is Gaucho. I’m a 10-year-old chocolate labrador and the emotional support and service dog of my mom, Magela. We’ve been inseparable for years. I help her through tough times, and she’s always there for me too.

I love swimming, stealing socks, kitchen towels, and anything soft I can find (even if I get in trouble for it! ). I’m a very loving dog, and when my mom lets me, I love snuggling in bed with her.

Not long ago, my mom found a lump on my right side. She took me to the vet, and we received heartbreaking news: I was diagnosed with cancer and also have a painful tooth infection. I need urgent surgery to treat both conditions and have a chance at a better, healthier life.

My mom is doing everything she can to help me, but the cost of treatment is more than she can afford right now. That’s why we’re reaching out for help. Any donation — big or small — will make a huge difference.
