Hola, mi nombre es Amparo Ramírez y hoy recurro a ustedes con el corazón en la mano para pedir ayuda.

Hace unas semanas, lo que comenzó como unas vacaciones familiares llenas de alegría en Playa del Carmen, México, se convirtió en una pesadilla. Sufrí un accidente terrible: caí y me golpeé fuertemente la cabeza. Como resultado, tuve una lesión cerebral severa, hemorragia interna, una fractura de cadera y un derrame cerebral.

Aunque recibí atención médica en México, lamentablemente fue muy limitada y la situación era crítica. Mi familia tuvo que hacer un esfuerzo enorme para pagar una ambulancia aérea con un equipo médico especializado que me trasladó de urgencia de regreso a casa, donde actualmente sigo en cuidados intensivos.

El camino hacia mi recuperación será largo y difícil. Además, los gastos médicos y terapias son sumamente costosos, y mi familia y yo no podemos afrontarlos solos.

Por eso, hoy mi familia y yo les pedimos humildemente su apoyo. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, hará una gran diferencia y nos ayudará a cubrir los gastos de tratamiento y rehabilitación. Su ayuda no solo nos dará la oportunidad de sanar, sino también la fuerza y esperanza que tanto necesitamos en estos momentos tan difíciles.

Hello, my name is Amparo Ramirez, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

A few weeks ago, what was supposed to be a joyful family vacation in Playa del Carmen, Mexico turned into a nightmare. I suffered a terrible accident — I fell and hit my head very hard. The impact caused a severe brain injury, internal bleeding, a hip fracture, and even a stroke.

Although I received medical attention while still in Mexico, the care available was extremely limited. My family was faced with an unthinkable situation — they had to arrange and pay for an air ambulance with a specialized medical team to fly me back home so I could receive the treatment I desperately needed.

Today, I remain in critical care, fighting every day to recover. The road ahead is long and uncertain. My recovery will take months — possibly years — and the financial burden of medical bills, therapy, and ongoing care has become overwhelming for my family and me.

We are humbly asking for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and help cover the costs of our treatment and recovery. Your kindness will not only help us heal but will also give our loved ones strength and hope during this incredibly difficult time.
