Recientemente, Gaby fue detenida por ICE mientras manejaba camino a su trabajo, una situación inesperada y devastadora para todos nosotros.

Gaby tiene 34 años y ha vivido en Estados Unidos durante los últimos 8 años. Vino desde Venezuela buscando seguridad y un futuro mejor, y desde el primer día ha hecho todo de manera legal, solicitando su asilo y cumpliendo con cada requisito del sistema migratorio.

Durante todo este tiempo, ella ha trabajado duro, ha pagado sus impuestos, ha construido una vida honesta y se ha convertido en un miembro activo y querido de la comunidad de Key West. Tiene amigos, compañeros de trabajo y familiares que la aman profundamente. Es una persona solidaria, siempre dispuesta a ayudar a los demás, y alguien que deja una huella positiva en todos los que la conocen.

Hoy, su familia y su prometido —quien también se encuentra en Estados Unidos— estamos angustiados y luchando por su libertad. Estamos recaudando fondos para poder cubrir la fianza migratoria y los gastos legales, que son elevados pero esenciales para que Gaby pueda continuar su proceso en libertad y regresar con quienes la amamos.

Gabby is known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others whenever she can.

Today, her family and her fiancé — who is also in the United States — are deeply worried and doing everything possible to secure her release. We are raising funds to help cover her immigration bond and legal fees, which are necessary for Gabby to continue her case in freedom and reunite with the people who love her.
